I am a documentary photographer based in London. I shoot ritual and the everyday — weddings, feria, protest, the beach on a flat afternoon — on a Nikon F3 and a Leica M7, almost always on 35mm film.

The work is observed, not directed. I am a witness. When nobody is performing for the camera the pictures get better, so I wait rather than ask.

I am studying for a Diploma in Photography at the British Academy of Photography.
